RBSMS has a wide variety of sports for our students. To participate in our sports programs, students must try out and complete their state-mandated physical, and courses on heat illness prevention, sudden cardiac arrest, concussions in sports, and Sportsmanship videos. Athletic Participation
To participate in any sport at RBSMS, students must complete the following:
- EL2_022426
- NFHS Training Videos (Heat Illness Prevention, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussions in Sports, and Sportsmanship)
- Field Trip Form
- Home School, FLVS, Private School, and Charter School Athletes
- Once completed, students should upload these documents to Athletic Clearance. Instructions for using Athletic Clearance can be found here.
Athletic Fees
- 1st Sport: $70.00
- 2nd Sport: $50.00
- Family (Same School): $150.00
- Individual Cap: $120.00
No Tryout Fee: Students have three (3) days to pay fees after they make the team. No one will participate in game competition until fees have been paid.

*All athletic clearances must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on the day prior to the start of tryouts. Any clearance submitted after the 3:00 p.m. deadline will be reviewed, approved, or denied and may be delayed. Clearances submitted after the 3:00 p.m. deadline will be reviewed as time allows . Please plan accordingly to ensure eligibility for tryouts.
As of July 1st, 2026, all Non-Traditional athletes must complete the New Co-Enrollment process with Pasco County Schools to be eligible to play sports.
